Dealing with antisocial forces

Legal & General Investment Management Japan (hereinafter ‘We’) strives to ensure the propriety and safety of our business through the compliance of all our staff (officers and executives) with our basic Response Policy to Antisocial Forces. We stipulate this Policy as follows:

1. We never conduct business with antisocial forces.
2. We never provide funding to antisocial forces.
3. We never respond to unreasonable demands from antisocial forces. We take civil and criminal legal action in the event of an unreasonable demand from antisocial forces.
4. We maintain a more than close working relationship regarding the removal of antisocial forces with the relevant external organisations such as the police, lawyers and the Centre for Removal of Criminal Organisations.
